CDS Housing and New York State Homes and Community Renewal celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of a $21.6 million, 96-unit affordable senior living community in the town of Webster. 
CDS Housing Senior Living Hard Road 2, at 970 and 975 Abigayle Way, will be open to income-qualifying seniors age 55 and older and frail elderly.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to offer more affordable housing to the Webster community,” CDS Life Transitions President/CEO Sankar Sewnauth said. “Our two affordable housing communities for seniors in Webster are currently at capacity with waitlists, so it has become clear that this is a needed service in Monroe County, and we are happy to have the support of our state and local government to offer a solution to help people thrive in their communities.
