Twenty-six years ago, President Ronald Reagan declared March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month as a call for understanding, encouragement and opportunities to help persons with developmental disabilities to lead productive and fulfilling lives. Since then, many changes have been made to reflect those values across the nation.

At CDS Monarch, these values are a part of our everyday routines, but take some time this month to celebrate and share the accomplishments of those we support. You can recognize these accomplishments on our Facebook page where each day, we will be highlighting some of the individuals we serve. In addition, CDS Monarch is holding its 6th Annual "Strikes For Abilities" Bowling Party on March 10th, to raise money for unfunded health, wellness and recreation programs for people with disabilities.

If you would like to make a donation to the foundation to support our mission or if you are interested in getting involved through volunteering, please contact Amber Johnson at By donating, you will help provide continued quality service for individuals living with disabilities.
