CDS Monarch's theater troupe, The Monarch Players, will be performing at the first ever Rochester Fringe Fest. Their show will be at Blackfriars Theater in Rochester on September 22nd at 2:00pm.

The theater troupe will be presenting their own rendition of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, told through spoken word and movement. It is a family friendly performance and no prior Shakespeare experience is required. They have been preparing since April.

This performance is a fantastic achievement for the theater troupe. Many other theater groups in the area applied for a slot in the festival but not all received one. The Monarch Players will also be the only company with actors with disabilities invited to the Fringe. The group is hoping to sell out this show in anticipation of having another performance after the conclusion of Fringe Fest at a different theater.

The tickets are $10 +a $1 surcharge and can be purchased at, by phone at 1-877-368-2207, or in person at the Eastman Theater Box Office (433 E. Main Street, Rochester, 14604) and Wegman's That's the Ticket locations (at the service desk). Come support our performers and enjoy a wonderful show!
