2012 "Strikes for Abilities" Top Fundraiser - Chuckie Dell, with sisters Margie & Sheila, and Amber & Melissa from the Wolf Foundation.
On Sunday, March 11, 2012 The Wolf Foundation hosted its 5th Annual "Strikes for Abilities" Bowling Party, presented by North Forest Office Space. The event celebrated CDS Monarch's 35th Anniversary with a birthday theme and raised a record amount of $25,000 for unfunded recreational activities for individuals supported by CDS Monarch, exceeding the event goal! There were 250 bowlers and about 300 people total in attendance. In addition to North Forest Office Space, The Wolf Foundation would like to thank major sponsors: Fibertech Networks, the Amerks Alumni Association, ESL Federal Credit Union, Best Buy and Salmin, Celona, Wehrle, & Flaherty, LLP.

"On behalf of everyone at CDS Monarch, I would like to express our deepest appreciation and congratulations to The Wolf Foundation for holding a very successful event," stated Sankar Sewnauth, CDS Monarch President/CEO. "Everyone involved - bowlers, sponsors, volunteers and family members - shared their personal commitment to the individuals we support and recognized the on-going need for the bowling event."

The 2012 Top Fundraiser was Chuckie Dell raising $2,500! The 2012 Top Bowler was Keith Muller with a combined score of 452 for both games!

The Mayor Pete Kennedy from 100.5 the Drive was the event emcee and The Wolf Foundation also welcomed several Rochester Amerks Alumni who signed autographs!

President/CEO, Sankar Sewnauth and his wife Yvonne, once again hosted the "CEO Strikes Challenge!" On the 5th frame of the first game, they donated $20.00 for every strike bowled! The Wolf Foundation thanks the generous businesses and individuals who matched their donation. Together, they added an additional $1,800 to the event!

This event was organized by an amazing group of family and community volunteers. Many thanks to Volunteer Committee Chair, Margie Dell, whose brother Chuckie lives at CDS Monarch's French Road residence, works at Unistel and is a gold medal winning athlete on CDS Monarch's Special Olympics team. Margie and her volunteer committee: Sheila Nesbitt, Sue Walzer, Karyl Zoyack, Karen Warden, Sharon & George Vito, Brian Muench, Mariola Basaman, Cathy & Kevin Cassata, Bill & Kathy Woodard, Barb Moore, and Karen Gerstner did an amazing job, and The Wolf Foundation truly thanks them for all the hard work, countless hours, and tremendous dedication to ensuring the success of "Strikes for Abilities".
