Join us for our second annual 'Autism Awareness Fair' on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. The event is open to the public and will be held at CDS's Wolf Life Transitions Center located at 860 Hard Road in Webster, NY 14580.
The fair coincides with the national 'Autism Awareness Month' during April. Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the U.S. and has no known cure. This awareness event aims to educate the public and strengthen understanding of those faced with autism in the area.
The evening will include activities for everyone in the family including face painting, therapy animals, yoga and Wii games. Other activities will focus on art, sensory and music therapy. There will be a supervised open-swim in CDS' world-class pool as well as an appearance from Rosco the Clown.
We are asking that those interested in the open swim from 6-7pm please register by April 27 to ensure availability. For more information about the event or to register please contact Sarah Eksten at 585-347-1075 or via email at
We look forward to seeing you there!
