"In Honor of Our Veterans: All Gave Some, Some Gave All"

These words are found on the new memorial that has been placed outside in the front of the Wolf Life Transitions Center. The memorial was installed in honor of all service members by Kyle Sill, former Warrior SALUTE participant, Russell Kurvach, SALUTE Program Coordinator, Kevin Mulcahy of Mulcahy's Landscape & Design, and CDS staff members.

It was inspired by Sankar, but the design came from Kyle's tattoo. The rifle, helmet, and boots represent the fallen service members who fought for our country. The walkway is for people to walk by the memorial and reflect on those that fought in the wars. All veterans made a lot of sacrifices: they had to be away from their families, sometimes for long periods of time. The memorial is a symbol of our appreciation for the veterans.

Phase I was completed on July 28, 2010. Phase II will be completed at a later date, consisting of the addition of 2 flag poles flying a CDS flag and a Veterans flag, as well as two stone benches.
